So I didn't even know that Google had blogging available. I found it while looking for reviews of the Travalo perfume atomizer. I happily found a review and a giveaway. To enter the giveaway I had to post a comment. For that I needed to log in and Google prompted me to create a blog. So here it is. :)
Lately I've been interested in perfumes. Of course I own some. I currently have several fragrances from Victoria's Secret, a bottle of Burberry Brit, J. Lo Live, Paris Hilton, Ralph Lauren Romance, Ralph Lauren Blue, and Curve Soul.
So with my interest in fragrance, I started really using the ones I own. I also found that it would be troublesome to carry the bottle in my purse and expensive to be buying minis every time I find a new favorite. So I looked into decanting and atomizers. There were so many tales of woe via spillage and difficulty. The flo refillable atomizer and the travalo atomizer looked like the best choices. Personally I find the travalo to look better then the flo. The flo looks blocky and the travalo is sleek. Plus with the travalo, the way to fill it with pump action looks a lot easier.
Unfortunatly, it's not easy to get ahold of a travalo atomizer in the U.S. I can get it from FragranceX.com, but they only have it in silver. Which is the one color that doesn't interest me for the travalo. I did end up ordering a pink one for myself (and a gold one for my mother and grandmother each) from ebay. It's overseas shipping (luckily they're small and light) and hopefully they get here okay and it's the actual product. It would be so lame if I ended up recieveing something else or nothing at all. It would be a waste of $60 and I'm pretty much a poor college student.
I'm excited to try it out though. It looks like it will make carrying the fragrance of my choice around so much easier. Currently I'm using a bottle that originally contained a bath&bodyworks fragrance (sweet pea). But the bottle is actually kind of big (it's their travel size, not the full size) since it used to contain body spray. It's also plastic and I'm afraid it might break in my purse. Especially since I often have things like pens and books in my purse (being an English major).
My only questionable opinion about the travalo is about the spray head, which is plastic. Doesn't that mean that it might break? Although it does have a lifetime warrenty (if broken during normal use). Does that apply to people who reside outside of the UK though?
I wonder when it will be available in other colors. :P
